Teesside Budgerigar Society was first established in the mid 1950's and was known as the Middlesbrough Budgerigar Society and held it's first meeting in Billingham in 1955. It moved it's meetings to a shchool in North Ormesby.     In 1968 it changed it's name to the Teesside Budgerigar and became affiliated to the Yorkshire Area Budgerigar Society. In 2010 became affiliated to the Northern Budgerigar Society It moved it's meetings to Grove Hill in 1975 and again to St Mary's hall in Acklam.     The monthly meetings are now held in Stainton Village Hall 0n the 3rd Wednesday of every month.
